Description

TD00 Timesaver Drain Double Spigot Pipe 150mm x 3M. Timesaver Drain cast iron double spigot pipes, are manufactured using the De Lavaud process. The spun pipes are placed and rotated in a heat treatment furnace at 950° C and then gradually cooled again. This process considerably improves the mechanical properties of the cast iron providing greater crush and impact resistance and makes then easier to cut on site. Used for gravity below ground foul and rainwater applications often installed under commercial, public and residential buildings.

Thick section pipes and fittings with a high crush resistance of 150Kn/m. Exceptional resistance to rodding and jet washing. Flexibility and rigidity to with voids and unstable ground. Strength and temperature resistant to cope with the concrete slab. Can be installed in ‘as dug’ trenches without bedding materials.

  • Thermal cycle resistance: 1500 cycles between 15°C and 93°C

Coating description

  • External coating: Black Acrylic paint to an average thickness of 40 microns.
  • Internal coating: Pipes are lined with a two part epoxy paint (ochre colour) with an avarage dry thickness of 40 microns.
